Nice 'stache!

These pictures were sent from Todd Parker. I love that he's wearing that hat and glasses while catching some serious air at Grand Targhee.

Annual 5K Fun Run/Walk

All are invited to participate in the Annual 5K Fun Run/Walk on the 4th of July in Soda. This year's race is extra special because we're racing for Robert. The race director, Bill Horsley, wrote this about the race.
"Many of Robert Clark’s friends and family expressed a desire to run the July 4th Rotary fun run as a tribute to Robert’s memory. When I was approached with this idea I immediately thought that this would be a great opportunity to create a much more lasting and meaningful tribute by creating a fund to benefit young runners in the Soda Springs XC program that may not be able to participate without a little help with the expense of shoes and appropriate running attire. If you would like to contribute please designate the amount you would like to add to your entry fee for this purpose. This money will be held in an account with the Soda Springs Education Foundation for future use of aspiring young runners.
Thanks,
Bill Horsley (Race Director)"
If you'd like to enter the race, please leave your email in the comment section below and steffani (steffanic03@yahoo.com) will email you the registration forms. Kids are also welcome so please indicate if you'd like a child entry form as well. Thanks for your support! This sure means alot to Sue and the Clark family.

Lake Powell

I never got to enjoy a trip to Powell with Robert, but I can guess he made them fun. This video and pictures are posted by Monty who did spend time there with them. There are more pictures here - gallery.me.com/mchasej/

Dec.5 2008

In December, Lyle and Melanie's families got together in Salt Lake City for lunch and Robert was a hit as usual. We left the lunch laughing our heads off at how he made his way around the room and talked to EVERYONE. No one was left out as you can see from the picture. There were a lot of comments from those there that he was quite the social butterfly that day.

For many there, it was one of the last times they saw him and he definately left an impression. Robert didn't really know these kids that well, but made great friends of them by the time they left. I can say that daily I think about how great he was and try to make myself a little better.
